On April 5, God called his precious child Ada Bell Tate home to rest.
“Ada Bell” was born March 21, 1941, to Mr. and Mrs. McReynolds in Charleston Missouri.
“Ada Bell” as she was so fondly called by her late husband Simon Tate Jr., accepted Christ as her savior at a young age. Ada Bell belonged to First Memorial Church of God in Christ in Gurdon Arkansas. Where she served as a faithful member for over forty years under the leadership of Pastor Chester Mitchell.
Ada Bell retired in 1985 from Firestone in Prescott, Arkansas. She was loved in her community, never met a stranger, and always gave a helping hand to those in need. Her favorite past times were spending long days fishing and gardening.
Ada Bell married Simon Tate Jr. at a young age in 1965. Two children were born to this union Ada Jean Davis of Chicago, Illinois, and Kenny Ray Tate, (Phyllis Miller), of Little Rock, Arkansas. Ada Bell Is proceeded in death by her late and beloved husband Simon Tate Jr. who transitioned in 2016. Ada Bell leaves two living sisters; Gussie Charles of Seattle Washington, and Sandra Anderson of Hannibal Missouri, one brother David McReynolds of Hannibal Missouri. Ada Bell leaves behind a host of nieces, and nephews.
Ada Bell Tate was deeply loved by her family and friends. She will be missed by many but always remembered in our hearts.
