Willie B. Watkins

Sister Willie B. Watkins was born on August 27, 1929, in Manning, AR to Willie and Algerine Watkins. She was a loving, devoted caregiver for most of her life and a member of Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where Dr. Lewis A. Shepherd, Jr. was her pastor. Sister Willie B. Watkins passed on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs, AR. She was in her 88th season of life. Those gone on before her include One sister, Irene Willis; two brothers, Theodis Watkins and Houston Watkins. Those left to forever cherish her memory is one brother, Eugene Watkins of Arkadelphia, AR; one sister Delores Flowers of Arkadelphia, AR; nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Services are under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home of Arkadelphia, AR. Visitation will be Friday, June 15, 2018, at Mitchell Funeral Home from 12:00 noon- 5:00 P.M. Funeral services will be Monday, June 18, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Greater Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church where Dr. Lewis A. Shepherd, Jr. is the eulogist. The committal and final resting place will be at Henderson Cemetery in Princeton, AR.
