The Life Story Of Angelia Danette Craigg......

Angelia Danette Davis-Craigg, was born on April 20,1959 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Johnnie H. and Zettie B. Davis. She was one of ten children born unto this union.

She attended school in the Sparkman School District, graduating from High School in 1977. After graduation, Angie moved to Rockford, IL where she began her adulthood.

Angelia was a hard-working, determined, independent woman. She wasn’t blessed with any children of her own, but her love for children found her working in the Rockford Public Schools as a teaching assistant and later as an Early Childhood teacher. Later in life, she worked many years at Aramark ( Green Giant), and even took on a part-time job working at Sav-A-Day Self Services Laundry.

Angie was a very kind hearted woman who loved to see children grow, learn and be respectful to everyone. She constantly shared with students 1 of the 10 commandments, to honor your father and mother, so your days shall be long. She was a woman with a great spirit that granted her lots of friends which she enjoyed going out to eat with. Angie enjoyed helping others and loved to eat! If the food was good and the service was great, she would even leave a review. One of her mottos in life was to “Act with Kindness. Helping others is the best way to help yourself.”

Angelia departed this life on August 11,2023. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Davis; mother, Zettie Davis; sisters, Gloria, Rose and Evelyn; Brothers, Johnnie, Merlin and Milton.

Angelia leaves to cherish her memories, brothers, Charles and Faye; sister, Ivory Mae, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
