Donna Hart Obituary

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness. -2 Timothy 4:7-8

The beautiful spirit of Donna Denise Mitchell-Hart came to an untimely end on Friday, October 23, 2020, at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, AR. She was in her 63rd season of life.

Donna Denise was born on August 12, 1957, in Camden, AR, the daughter of Alee and Hattie Marie Mitchell. She was a 1976 graduate of Gurdon High School and later attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia studying Early Childhood Education. She met and married the love of her life, Bobby Hart, and together they raised 3 sons: Patrick Davis, Brian, and Brandon Hart.

Donna was a very active member of her childhood church, New Bethel A.M.E in Gurdon, AR. She later joined Victory Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Arkadelphia, AR where she was a very faithful and active member.

Donna was a woman with a beautiful spirit and befitting to her last name “Hart” she surely had a heart of Gold. She never met a stranger and had an infectious, bright smile to match her kind demeanor. Her passion was working with children especially infants. She was employed as a childcare worker at Happyland Childcare Center in Arkadelphia for 15 years until her health began to fail. She loved music and she sang all different genres, but her first love was gospel. She wrote many unpublished songs.

Those welcoming her in heaven include her Father, Alee Mitchell, and her husband, Bobby Hart.

Those left to celebrate her memories include: her Mother, Hattie Marie Mitchell; 3 sons, Patrick Davis, Brian and Brandon Hart; 1 brother, Christopher Mitchell; 4 sisters, Rose (Clemon) Gentry, Beverly (Troy) Willis, Cynthia Giles, and Karen Mitchell; 1 aunt, Gwendolyn Smith; 1 uncle, Plas Stuckey, God Daughter, LiAsia Wright, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
