Ella Mae Lock

Ella Mae Wright - Lock was born on May 10, 1922 to the late Joseph and Alabama Gilliam - Wright in Sparkman, Arkansas.

Ella Mae had two loving children: James Howard Butler (Wilda), who preceded her passing and Shirley Allen (Johnny).

Ella Mae was united in Holy Matrimony with Mark Lock, who preceded her passing. She was a devout Christian and member of the Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a faithful member of the Senior Saints and Sunday school.

She departed this life on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 7:25 pm at Sandal Wood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. She leaves to mourn her passing, a daughter, Shirley (Johnny) Allen of Little Rock, AR; one sister, Delores Walker of Detroit, MI; five grandchildren, Jon Allen (Glennis), Montoya Butler, Lisa Butler, Deborah Butler and Darren Butler all of St. Louis, MO; a special sister-in-law, Gracie Wright of Sparkman, AR; thirteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and host of family and friends.

Funeral will be held Friday at 12:00 P.M. at Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Arkadelphia where Dr. Lewis A. Shepherd Jr. is Pastor and Eulogist.

Committal and final resting place is at Sparkman Memorial Cemetery, Sparkman, Arkansas.

Viewing is Thursday from 12 - 6 P.M. at the funeral home.
