Janice Wells

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

Janice Wells was born on April 5, 1966 in Gurdon, AR to the late Cleo Wells and Johnetta Bell. Janice had a sweet and loving spirit all of her days. She never met a stranger and to know her was to love her.

Janice graduated from Arkadelphia High School along with her fellow classmates in 1986. Later on in life, she started her career working at Central Primary School in Arkadelphia in the culinary department. Janice loved kids! Her love for all children made working for Arkadelphia Public Schools enjoyable and exciting. Janice attended church at Apostolic Faith Church in Arkadelphia. She was very outgoing, loved cooking and all different genres of music.

On July 23, 2016 the beautiful spirit of Janice Wells left this earthly life to be with our Father in heaven. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cleo Wells and Johnetta Bell and one brother-in-law, Cleon Crutchers.

Janice leaves to cherish her loving memory, one son, Gary (Antonette) Hall of Dallas, TX; two brothers, Billy(Carolyn)Johnson and Lee Otis Bell both of Arkadelphia, AR; five sisters, Allie Mae Henderson of Sparkman, AR, Mae Otis Buckley and Joyce(Luster)Bell both of Arkadelphia, AR, Elaine Stafford of Maumelle, AR and Minnie Crutchers of Dallas, TX; a special and longtime friend, Julius Ussery of Arkadelphia, AR; three grandchildren, Mykal, JaNylyn, and Landon; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends.

Public visitation will be at the funeral home Friday, July 29, 2016 from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m., and the family will receive friends from 5:00 -6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Apostolic Faith Church where Pastor James Langley will serve as officiant and eulogist. Interment will be in Holly Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and share memories from 5 p.m.-6 p.m., at the funeral home.

The body will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. for final viewing.
