Lula Mae Buckley

Mrs. Lula Mae Buckley left this earthly life to be with our Father in heaven on December 4, 2016 in her 82nd season of life. She was born in Rochelle, LA to the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Wright and Bertha Gant. Later on the family moved to Woodville, TX where Mrs. Buckley attended school. She retired from the Arlington Resort Hotel and Spa in Hot Springs, AR after over 34 years working in various positions. Mrs. Lula Mae was an amazing wife, mother and friend. She will truly be missed.

Those gone on before her include her parents; husband, Clinton Buckley; 1 daughter, Shelia Buckley; 8 sisters and 2 brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 5 sons, Clinton Buckley, Jr. (Jacqueline) of Jacksonville, AR, Terry Wright (Rosemary) of Gurdon, AR, Noland Buckley (Mary) and Patrick Buckley both of Bryant, AR and Dale Buckley of Malvern, AR; 4 daughters, Theresha Nolen (Rev. Thomas), Yuna Massey, and Timesha Buckley all of Malvern, AR, and Belvia Nicks (Rev. Larry) of Camden, AR; 1 brother, Thomas Wright of Woodville, TX; 1 sister, Velma Phifer (Cliff-deceased) of Woodville, TX; 23 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services are under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home in Arkadelphia, AR. Public visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2016 from 12 noon till 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Family hour will be at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Homegoing services will be Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11 a.m.at First Baptist Church in Okolona, AR where Rev. Larry Mitchell is Pastor. Rev. Orlando Freeman will serve as officiant and Rev. Thomas Nolen will give the eulogy. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Arkadelphia.

Family Hour will be at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
