Tony Mario Hughes was born to Grady and Lois Hughes on November 1, 1977, at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock, AR.
Tony confessed in Christ at the tender age of 7 years old, under the leadership of his Father, Pastor G. L. Hughes, Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Gurdon, AR. He graduated from Arkadelphia High School in Arkadelphia and loved working for Group Living Inc. of Arkadelphia in housekeeping and the Beehive store.
Tony's all-time favorite hobby was watching Wrestling! His favorite wrestlers were The Rock, HHH, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. He enjoyed television and always tried to stay caught up on current events. Tony enjoyed sports, playing video games, pool, and listening to different music. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Arkadelphia, AR under the leadership of Rev. L. E. Terry, Sr.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 23, 2019, at Mitchell Funeral Home in Arkadelphia from 11:00 A.M.- 5:00 P.M. The Homegoing Celebration will be on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Arkadelphia. Brother Hughes will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to funeral time. Burial and final resting place will be in Mt. Zion A.M.E. Cemetery in Camden, AR.
