Verdie Mae Pollins

Verdie Mae Pollins 94, of Okolona died Thursday November 8 at her home in Okolona. She was born October 1, 1918 in Hollywood the daughter of the late Fines and Katherine Osborne.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of First Baptist Church at Okolona.

Survivors include three sons, Jimmie Lee (Martha) Pollins and Bennie Lee Pollins both of Okolona, AR; Bobby Joe (Earnestine) Pollins of Bryant, AR; one daughter, Lillie Smith of Mineral Springs, AR; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Saturday November 17, at 1:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Okolona where Rev. Larry D. Mitchell is Pastor and Officant.

Burial and final resting place is First Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Family hour is 6 to 7 P.M.
